REPORT: MIKEL ARTETA TELLS ARSENAL TO BID £100.5M FOR JUVENTUS DUO

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to sign Dusan Vlahovic and Fabio Miretti for the Gunners from Juventus, according to CMW. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that despite signing Brazil international striker Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, Arsenal manager Arteta is keen on bringing striker Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium as well. The Arsenal boss is reportedly also interested in securing the services of 19-year-old Juventus midfielder Miretti in the January transfer window.

CMW have reported that Arteta is pushing Arsenal to bid €115 million (£100.52 million) for Juventus duo Vlahovic and Miretti. In our view, Arsenal are unlikely to spend £100 million in the January transfer window. After all, the Gunners were very busy in the summer transfer window and signed Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko among other players. Vlahovic is only 22, and he would be a brilliant addition to Arsenal, but would Juventus really sell him in the middle of a season?

Miretti is only 19 and is starting to become a big player for Juventus in the middle of the park, and the former Serie A champions will not been keen on cashing in on him in the January transfer window. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has ready transformed the fortunes of the Gunners this season and has also given them an entirely new identity that they have been recognizes with for being one of the best teams in the league so far.

With Gabriel Jesus up there with some of the best strikers so far this season, it looks like Arteta still wants more firepower in his attack and has urged the club’s board to go all out and sign him the two Juventus stars so he can promise even better results in their quest to finish as high as they can in the Premier League table.
